Hugin 很好用

最近签收了几十张文件，有十几张是 Legal 尺寸，需要电子化保留。我的扫描仪不能扫描 Legal 尺寸，只能靠“拼接”了。

每张纸从头部扫描一次，从底部扫描一次，然后用 Hugin 拼接，完全按照它的教程来操作，拼接出来的效果十分好，因为它可以自动纠偏。

拼接出来的图片大小无所谓的，小于 Legal 尺寸都没关系，只要内容在就可以了。图片经 ScanTailor 黑白化处理的时候可以调整页面的边幅从而达到 Legal 尺寸。

iFVOD no AD 脚本无效了

这篇文章《一帆视频（原 iFun、多瑙）去广告 & 增强》的脚本 3.1.0 版本失效了。如果在 Violentmonkey 里 enable 这个脚本，打不开一帆视频网站，所以只好 disable 了这个脚本。

disable 脚本后，失去了几个功能。

1. 无法 2x 速度快播；
2. 无法调整清晰度；

如果你装了 uBlock Origin 浏览器插件，广告还是没有的。 

如果你注册了免费账户，还是有播放记录的。

所以，没有这个插件也没什么，基本不影响。

装一个 HTML5 video player enhanced script 就可以解决这个问题，C X Z 三个键加速、减速、原速，还有其它各种控制键，比如 Shift + S 截图，太方便了。

不要忘记了在电信商那里的余额

再过两天就是 2022 年了，昨天晚上我有点空闲，就想把 2021 年残留的两件事情给办了。对这两件事情我已经给足了耐心和时间。

Koodoo Mobile

九月初一个手机号码从 Koodoo Mobile 转到了 Virgin Plus，Koodoo 欠我的钱，账户里有余额，虽然我现在进不去账户了。怎么办？它的网站说：

If you've cancelled your account and a refund is owed, a cheque will be mailed following your final invoice and will arrive within 6 weeks.

If you had pre-authorized credit card payments set up on your account or pre-authorized debit through your checking account, you'll receive your refund back to your credit card (excluding Visa Debit) or checking account respectively in 5-7 business day after your final bill is out.

Note that for refunds that are less than 5$ or more than 5000$ you will need the help of a rep.

但是再过两天就 2022 年了，我还是没有收到支票，于是我通过 Live chat 机器人约了回打。在预约时间过后的二十多分钟（在它说的半个小时误差范围之内）收到了一男客服的电话，说明了情况，然后转到了 Billing Department 处理，第二名男客服处理了我的案例，说申请了给我发支票，叫我等 4-6 周，还给了我一个 Verification Number。

希望收到支票吧。

更新：收到支票，支票上的日期是 2022 年 1 月 13日。

更新：2022 年 3 月 10 日早上，我发现在车的雨刷上夹着一封信，信里是 Koodoo 的一张支票，支票签发日期是 2021 年 10 月 19 日。不知道谁放的。原来 Koodoo 真的会自动处理 refund，但是信给寄丢了？

Bell Mobile

十一月份黑五一个手机号码从 Bell  转到了 Virgin Plus，账户里面有余额，现在也查不到账户里有多少余额了。

Bell 的 refund 规则类似 Koodoo，但是我也没收到钱。

通过 Live chat 找客服，先机器人，然后真人聊天客服，查了我有接近二十元钱的余额，我还以为只有几块钱。问我转到哪家了，我回复说 Virgin，他说好办啊，Virgin 也是 Bell 的，客服可以处理两家公司。直接在我的 Virgin 账户加了二十二块多的 credit，我立马在 Virgin 账户里就查到了。我也不知道为什么多给我几块钱的 credit，也没问。

我还有一个问题：如果我转到别家，比如 FIDO，BELL 寄支票给我？

随即把 MyBell App 从手机上删除了。

Phonebox

九月初我孩子的手机号码从 Phonebox 转到 Virgin Plus，转走后，Phonebox 发了好几封信说明 termination 后的几个注意事项，其中一封电子邮件专门说 refund，里面有链接，打开链接提供你要接收 refund 的信用卡信息。我在十月下旬收到了 refund，Phonebox 还发了一封电子邮件 receipt。

很多人不会想到自己在电信商那里还有余额吧？

还有很多人估计不会费时费力去要回那点钱吧？

我在想：电信商不知道黑了多少客户的钱。

两个新词 shag-mate 和 booty call

shag mate 或 shag-mate 或者 shagmate，与 booty call 是两个英语俚语，形容“炮友”级别。

booty call 约人过来解决生理需求，只为此目的，十分纯粹。约的双方一般是认识的，与应召（call）不一样。

shag mate 比 booty call 更亲密一点，类似中文里说的“炮友”。

shag 这个词是英国俚语，就是纯粹的 have sex。很多英国电影里都经常用这个词，比如 2003 年的电影《Love Actually - 真爱至上》里，摘录一些如下：

Gmail 和 Outlook 和 iPhone Mail 三个 App 的对比

首先我删除了 Gmail App，不再使用它。它无时无刻不在收集你的信息；设置十分复杂，Google 一直故意这么做，就是让用户尽量别修改默认设置，方便自己做坏事；太多的通知消息了；只有 push，没有 fetch，也就是说一直在盯着你；因为上述原因，特别耗电。

Outlook 做得实在不错，尤其是收 Microsoft 的 hotmail、outlook、live 等邮件时不那么耗电，十分顺滑。

iPhone 自带的 Mail App 可以设置 fetch，还可以设置手动收取邮件，从这一点来说比较好。也十分耗电，但是比 Gmail 好很多。缺点就是太慢。

Microsoft 个人邮箱的愚蠢

我之前说过 Skype，今天来说说 Microsoft 的个人邮箱，也就是 outlook.com 或者 hotmail.com 或者 live.ca 或者 hotmail.ca 等。

这个愚蠢是关于 IP 的问题，尤其使用 VPN 的时候。

我什么都不说了，就只需要搜索一下。大家看反馈，以及 Microsoft 的客服一贯的做做样子不解决实际问题的服务。

如果我要用 VPN，先得把邮件客户端给关掉，再打开 VPN，否则所有 Microsoft 的邮箱都被锁。

但是啊，总有一不小心忘记了的时候，那么就会耗时很久解决被锁的麻烦。

说过 Skype，说过 outlook，再来说说 Linkedin。

大家看看 Linkedin 的 verification，这么愚蠢的设计，我被认为不是“人”了。 我花了五分钟都没通过！

结论是：我很难完成这样的 security check！或者我要想完成，必须要花费很多时间和精力，那还不如不做！

2022 年 2 月 7 日星期二

把 desktop 上 Thunderbird 里的所有 outlook 邮箱全部去掉了，因为又用了 VPN，导致所有邮箱被 Microsoft 强制修改密码。开了 two-step verification 的邮箱也被逼迫修改密码，微软太愚蠢了，太缺德了。

另外，关闭了 LinkedIn 账户。

微软这家公司很多方面太弱智。

World Vision 和 Best Buy

World Vision 更改后的邮寄地址只在每年 1 月生效。避开这种垃圾慈善机构。

我用我的账户和家人的账户在 Best Buy 各买了一件同样的东西，我的订单被取消了，且没有通知。原因？看 RFD 上的讨论。Best Buy 活该倒闭。
